What We Believe

The Godhead

We believe that the Godhead exists eternally. The Godhead is three persons- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  These three persons are one God; have precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfection; and are worthy of precisely the same honor, confidence, and obedience.

The Scriptures

We believe where the Bible speaks, we speak. Where the Bible is silent, we are silent. All scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Tim 3:16-17). We believe that all Scripture centers around the Lord Jesus Christ in His person and work, in His first and second coming, and that no portion of the Scripture, even the Old Testament, is properly read or understood until it leads to Him. We also believe that all Scripture is designed for our practical instruction.

The Six Foundational Truths

  1. The Authority of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17)

  2. The Virgin Birth (Luke 2:7-11)

  3. The Deity of Christ (John 21:26-28)

  4. The Substitutionary Atonement The Cross ! (2 Cor 5:21)

  5. The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ ( 1 Cor 15:18)

  6. The Physical Return of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:9-11)

Salvation Only Through Christ

We believe that due to universal death through sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again. We believe the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in Christ and that repentance is a vital part of believing. We believe repentance is in no way by itself a separate and independent condition of salvation. Further, there are no acts, such as confession, baptism, prayer, or faithful service, to be added to believing as a condition of salvation.
